Hi! We're Isabel and Marilyn and we love to share all-things Lisbon
After years of visiting Lisbon for both long and short visits (we live less than an hour away, in our ancestral village in the Portuguese countryside) we've had our share of mishaps.
There were many times when we'd be strolling down one of Lisbon's cobblestone streets when one or both of us said, "I wish I'd known we'd needed x, y, or z." This, of course, was followed by us jotting it down on stickie notes and vowing not to forget it later.
Over the years, friends of ours have asked us for tips - or more specifically, the absolute items they should take with them when visiting Lisbon - and we found ourselves reciting a lot of what we'd written down on those stickie notes. Our friends have always found these insider-tips useful, and so we decided to compile them into a checklist. Now, we're sharing it with you.
These are meant to be in addition to any personal items that you need no matter where you go, so don't forget to pack those too! Combined with our suggestions, you'll be wonderfully prepared so you can enjoy Lisbon comfortably and with ease.
